In this AnyTrans review, we tested main features of AnyTrans for iOS and hopefully it can help the old and tech challenged people to manage their iOS device easier.

AnyTrans supports to fully manage iPhone, Android and Cloud contents. With AnyTrans for iOS, you can transfer content from iOS device to computer, iTunes, iCloud and vice versa, including Music, Photos, Contacts, Videos, Messages and more.

After downloading “anytrans-install-en-setup.exe” or “anytrans-ios-en-mac.dmg”, you can choose to install iPhone & iPad Manager, Cloud Drivers Manager or Android Device Manager.

In this review, we’ll mainly focus on AnyTrans for iOS – iPhone & iPad Manager.

1 > Export iPhone/iPad Data to Computer

The base functionality of AnyTrans is that it can transfer date from iPhone to computer. Just connect your iPhone to the computer, the tool will scan the data on your iPhone after you confirm “trust”. Then you can send any data to your computer, including photos, music, videos, messages, contacts and more.

2 > Migrate Data from Android/iPhone to New iPhone in One Click

Apple released the new iPhone 15/15 pro/pro max. Maybe it is time to learn how to transfer all data from your old phone to the new iPhone without the help of “Move to iOS” app.

With AnyTrans, it can migrate all data (contacts, photos, messages, videos, music, ringtones, and other iPhone data) on your old Android or iOS device to new iPhone with one click. Better yet, you can transfer apps and app data from your previous iPhone to the new one without downloading them one by one manually. After migration, you can also erase the data on your old iPhone.

5 > iCloud Content Management

iCloud can upload your contents on iPhone/iPad/iPod touch and automatically transfer these contents to all devices logged in the same iCloud account. If you don’t manage iCloud properly, the data on your iOS device may be in a mass.

After logging in your iCloud account on AnyTrans for iOS, you can freely view, delete, download iCloud contents. Adding content from computer to iCloud is also supported. More exciting thing is that you can even transfer contents from one iCloud account to another iCloud account.

Personally, I like export and delete some photos and videos from iCloud since it has already full of storage.

6 > Download Video from YouTube/Vimeo/Dailymotion

Besides being an iPhone manager, AnyTrans for iOS is also a nice video downloader. It is also quite easy to download videos from YouTube, DailyMotion and many other video websites. Paste URL to the blank square, and then click Download, you can have your favorite videos on computer or iOS devices.

Yes, AnyTrans is absolutely safe and secure to use from a malware and virus standpoint. To avoid any security issues, I suggest you to download the latest version for AnyTrans from the official website of AnyTrans. It makes sure that you get the most secure and latest version of this application.

Then, if AnyTrans wants to scan the data on your iPhone, iCloud or iTunes, it needs your permission and confirmation first.

AnyTrans Price: Is AnyTrans Free

Initially, AnyTrans is free download with a three-day trial period. With the free trial version, you can transfer 30 items for free per day. But some functions cannot be used with the trial version such as Phone to iPhone, Cloud to Cloud, App restore, backup restore, Social Messages restore/to new iPhone and erase phone function. If you need the full features, you need to purchase the program.

AnyTrans price is $39.99 for a single PC. The family license that allows to use it in up to five PCs will cost $69.99. But, The good thing is it comes with lifetimes updates. So, once you pay it, you will be able to use it forever.

Note: You can only install AnyTrans on your Windows computer or Mac which means that you cannot install it on your iPhone.

AnyTrans Review: Pros and Cons

Pros

• Versatility in Data Management: I found AnyTrans extremely useful for managing various types of data on my iOS devices. It supports a wide range of file types, making it easy to transfer and organize my files.
• User-Friendly Interface: The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. I didn’t have much trouble figuring out how to use the different features.
• Efficient Data Transfer: The speed of data transfer is impressive. I was able to move large files between devices quickly and without any hiccups.
• Comprehensive Backup Options: AnyTrans offers robust backup and restore functions. I particularly appreciate the flexibility it provides in choosing what to backup.
• Cross-Platform Compatibility: Being able to use AnyTrans on both my Windows and Mac computers is a big plus for me.
• AnyTrans supports multiple languages: Currently, the software supports English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Arabic. 

Cons

• Cost: The price point is a bit high. While I find AnyTrans valuable, the cost might be prohibitive for some users.
• Occasional Glitches: I’ve experienced a few glitches and crashes, especially when dealing with large amounts of data.
• Complexity for Beginners: For someone new to this type of software, the range of features and options might be overwhelming at first.
• iTunes Dependency: For certain functions, AnyTrans still requires iTunes to be installed, which I find a bit inconvenient.
• Limited Free Version: The free version of AnyTrans is quite limited in functionality, which might deter some users from experiencing its full potential.

AnyTrans Alternatives

1. iMazing iPhone Transfer

iMazing is an iPhone transfer software created by DigiDNA, a Switzerland software developer. This program makes it easy to transfer, backup, print, and manage data on your iPhone and iPad. You can absolutely use it as a replacement for iTunes to manage your device. 

2. iExplorer 

Just like AnyTrans and iMazing, iExplorer is also a computer-based iPhone data transfer program. And it is good at transferring large numbers of big data files, such as hundreds of pictures, videos, and songs. Certainly, you can play and preview those items before you export them to a computer.

But it is a pity that iExplorer doesn’t add some meaningful features and improve its interface for a long time. And most of its recent updates are bug fixes and iOS compatibility updates. Compared with the rivals, it has no advantage in price and features now.

3. Syncios

As a combination of iPhone Manager, PC to iPhone Transfer, iPhone Music Transfer, iPhone to PC Transfer, iPhone to iPhone Transfer and iPhone to iTunes Transfer, Syncios is able to transfer files among your computer, iPhone, and iTunes.

AnyTrans Review: Overall Rating

AnyTrans is suitable for all iOS device users. It has been optimized well to serve Apple devices users in their i-Life living to make their life easier. AnyTrans has done a good job of simplifying the content management between iOS devices and computer.

It has so many useful features and all these features are packaged in a user-friendly manner. It is a perfect iTunes alternative for the aged and non-tech-savvy PC Users.
