The Verdict
WebWatcher is a good choice for those who are looking for a decent mobile monitoring app that will let you put a filter or time limits on your kid’s mobile devices and computers. However, we don’t think WebWatcher is the best parental monitoring app. It is pretty expensive. In addition, when it gets detected by any antivirus program on the target phone, it gets removed easily.

What is the Webwatcher?
Founded in 2002, WebWatcher is a phone monitoring app created by Awareness Technologies. It allows parents to remotely monitor their children’s computer and mobile device activity in real time, protecting them against online and offline dangers. For example, it allows you to see your child’s text messages and IMs, check their call logs, see the pictures and videos that they store and share, give approval for apps that they want to download, verify their location, and more.
However, please note that you can only install WebWatcher on devices that you own or have permission to monitor and that you inform all users of those devices that they are being monitored. To ensure proper use, WebWatcher requires the user to have both physical and password access to the target device.
WebWatcher is compatible with all 5 key operating systems: Android, iOS, PC, Mac & Chromebook.
