Then, what’s the most popular mobile game categories?

By analyzing the top 1,000 most downloaded mobile games in Google Play Store, we found that games in “Arcade & Action” and “Brain & Puzzle” accounted for 52% of the top 1,000 most downloaded games in Android devices.

Note: There were significant differences in mobile gaming genres consumed across various generations and countries. If you are a developer, you should do your research deeper.
