The Amino app is both a social network and a platform for users to interact with topics and communities of interest. Though it is a high quality app, many people want to delete their Amino account or some parents want to delete their children’s Amino account.

Follow this guide to learn how easily it can be delete Amino account.

Deleting Your Amino Account

Unlike many other apps, Amino provide a direct way for you to delete your account permanently.

To delete your account, go to the Settings > Account > Delete Account. Enter your password, then confirm to Delete.

Note:

1. You must wait 7 days before you can create a new account associated with the same email address or phone number.
2. Please note that after this 7-day period, all data will be permanently deleted. Make sure this is what you really want to do!
3. If you are unable to delete your account for any reason, please contact Amino via Support 

Deleting Your Child’s Amino Account

To delete your child’s account, you can Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You’ll need to enter the password, then confirm to Delete.

Note:

1. Amino is only for members age 13 and up (and 16+ in the EU). If they receive credible information that a member is under 13, we will permanently delete their profile.
2. For security and authentication reasons, Amino will not delete accounts unless they receive an email from the email address connected to the account.
